Spinprot is starting to develop lateral flow immunoassay COVID-19 antigen rapid lateral flow immunoassay test for the qualitative detection of Sars-Cov-2  in saliva  specimens. Nowdays avaiable casste tests have worst  diagnostic values than PCR based tests and  are dedicated for inconveniant  nasopharyngeal swab specimen.

The test will be based on  our aptamer  technology allowing to reach sensitivity and specificity  as good as PCR tests. The test will be reliable and  is intended for self-monitoring, it should also be available to employers and doctors of the first contact.
